Investigative Story Developer

Story Development · Writing · Research · Editorial Collaboration

This is not a traditional newsroom role, and it is not simply a scriptwriting position.

The Investigative Story Developer will work closely with the founder to question assumptions, research difficult subjects, organize developing ideas, and turn conversations into usable story outlines, scripts, articles, monologues, and live-action productions.

You may help investigate the legal and cultural arguments surrounding nudity and free expression for Barely-Said, develop believable corporate satire for Squeezed, or shape an early film idea into a written sequence that can later become a storyboard and production plan.

The ideal collaborator is curious, thoughtful, comfortable challenging an idea respectfully, and willing to follow a question until its purpose becomes clear.

Because some Pytormal Studios productions explore naturism and body-positive expression, this person must be comfortable with the studio’s nude-friendly culture. Participation in nudity or clothing-optional environments is never required, but acceptance and respect are essential.

This role begins as a creative collaboration with the potential to grow into a long-term editorial leadership or co-founder-level position if the working relationship, trust, and shared direction develop naturally.
